Visual comfort and aesthetics don't have to be sacrificed to provide architectural
lighting at a reasonable price. Day-Brite is expanding its architectural offering with the exciting new Tenuto. This innovative new product is a fresh alternative to existing recessed direct/indirect luminaires and a complement to the Arioso line of products.
Tenuto uses perforated lamp covers with white overlays like more conventional recessed D/I offerings but is configured to use ceiling tiles to form the reflector. This allows Tenuto to provide the comfortable, glare-free illumination expected from recessed direct/indirect luminaires while
promoting flexible aesthetics. Making the reflector from ceiling tiles that match those in the
surrounding ceiling provides a unique, extremely integrated appearance. Different materials,
patterns or colors can also be used to provide accents or architectural features. Another benefit
of the design is that it reduces cost by eliminating the steel reflectors commonly used in recessed direct/indirect fixtures. Tenuto combines aesthetics, performance, and price in one attractive package.
