Visual comfort need not be sacrificed for contemporary aesthetics and an
architectural appearance. Day-Brite® Lighting is pleased to add Epsilon to its extensive line of VDT products. Epsilon utilizes T5 lamps,
specialized louvers, and illuminated panels to create a remarkable combination of aesthetics and performance. Epsilon starts with a low profile 3"
housing, so little plenum space is required. The specular louvers are specifically designed for use with T5 sources, and are constructed from MIRO-4
to obtain high reflectance and specularity for precise optical control. Located between the narrow louvers are panels that are available in white opal
or perforated metal with white overlay. These panels provide smooth, subtle brightness to eliminate the "black hole" effect of traditional VDT products.
This brightness opens up the ceiling to make the space feel open and airy without creating glare. The two lamp luminaires use 2 louvers with panels between
and outboard. The three lamp models use 3 louvers with panels between. Both high efficiency and high output T5 lamps are available, with ballast options
including dimming, so that performance can be tailored to your specific application.
